A series of fortunate events

There were many things that rejuvenated my gardening bug.
The first thing was I made a bouquet from my neglected yard. I thought Wow! if this is what my garden gives me with neglect what is she capable of with just a little nurturing..image

Then I went to a Tea Garden Partyimage

I toured a wonderful garden in Tustin

Then I went to the Costa Mesa annual garden show. I should mention I have not missed this show for the last 10 years and always came away inspired and with plants but I couldn’t sustain my enthusiasm . This time it was different though. I went to the show and have already planted what I bought. Looking forward to spring.

Beautiful bouquet–and in May! We have very few flowers right now–bulbs like daffodils and tulips, forget-me-nots, blossoming fruit trees and, of course, dandelions! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you. That bouquet was made in March or early April. The daffodils were a surprise that popped up this year. I planted them many years ago.
